I plan to connect my existing 5 Beolab 3 to a new Toshiba TV (can't afford a B&O TV).
I have planned the following:
Buy a Nuforce AVP-18 and use it's Pre-outs for the Beolabs. I think I will need this specific trigger cable to switch on the Beolab 2. Other than this - will this work? Do I need the trigger cable for Beolab 3 too? They are currently hooked to a Bose Lifestyle system - works more or less but I have some speaker humming and hissing sometimes and some clicking when input signal changes Stereo to 5.1 and back etc.
I assume and hope that with clean Pre-out signal i won't an issue with humming and hissing.
The Nuforce is my choice because of limited room in my rack and my better half won't allow a Yamaha or Denon monster on the sideboard.
Thanks for help.
You will need a trigger cable to avoid the speakers turning off in low volume situations.

I am using the BL3 as the rear surrounds via the RCA plug to PL without a trigger cable. I have not noticed any problems with those speakers shutting off at inopportune moments.
