I always assumed that it is not possible, but if you don't ask, you will never know.

Is there any way to turn on TV or DTV/SAT on a Beovision by using a Master Control Panel 5500/6500?

The button is not present, but is there any key combo that will send the right command?

No, the MCP cannot send any video mode commands. Programming the TV in option 2 and pressing AUX won't work either (I just tried).

edit: you can turn it off that way, though! Odd.

A late reply to this topic.

Not shore if this work it or if it just activate the TV with a picture mute function for distribution of Audio?

Try to press Aux followed by a digit 1-9 can´t remember what Video unit that was for what but this way I could control and switch video sources directly on the Becenter 9500 itself, I assume the same logic still exist.

It would have been amazing if the MCP could do this, such a pity it wasn't thought of. I'd definitely dust mine off and use it.
