My Beo6 which I had brought back to life, suddenly stopped turning on the keyboard light.

Nothing could get it to turn on, dark room, reboot, new configuration, battery disconnect.

But while I had the keyboard out to disconnect battery, I noticed that the flat cable going to the screen from keyboard, was very bend, and looked like there was a bad connection at the side of the bend.

By totally luck and chance, I actually had a cable in the drawer, (once got a bunch of different cables while trying to fix a BL5000 screen). The cable is the same, but a bit shorter, but that was no problem.

Removed the screen and changed the cable.. Keyboard light back on :)
