Hi,

I have bought a Beosound 35 on eBay and I am not able to do a complete factory reset. The Beosound 35 always remember the TuneIn User Account of the old owner. When I do a rest with the menu, the account is still there.

Is there the possibility to perform a complete reset of the Beosound 35 to delete all (Accounts, protocols, etc.)

Thank you for your help.

Mirco

Did you logout on the accounts (Deezer and TuneIn)?

Try this in the BeoSetup app or BeoMusic app (Product Settings) and log in with your own account.

It is possible to do a "Factory Reset" by:-

  • Go to Setup menu. To access the Setup menu, tap GO and use < or > to navigate in menus. When Setup appears, tap GO to open the menu.
  • Select Reset and confirm that you want to reset BeoSound 35. All Bluetooth pairings and network profiles are deleted and all settings made in BeoSetup App are reset to default.

User credentials for music services (e.g. TuneIn, Deezer and Spotify) will only be reset if the product is connected to the internet

This means that you have to enter YOUR settings for network first (if connected via WIFI, for your BS35 to be able to access the internet), and then to run the reset process.

It should not be necessary if connected via Ethernet.

Anyway, this process sounds odd to my ears (a factory reset is generaly used because of problems, and it may work whatever you do....)

There's also a reset function on the X app. Did you try it too?

Does the previous user not have to remove the device from their device lists in their Tunein account? Not sure if it is the same as a Digital Radio

Hmm, I tried the above things, but there was no change.

I always gets this error:

Cannot change TuneIn account, unknown error
