Hi,
I use a nice Beoplay V1 in my bedroom. Is there any possibility to start the tv with a timer? I would like to use it as alamclock to start up with radio. Is this possible?

As far as I remember the only way would be to use a BeoTime.
The tv itself has no timer-on function.
.....oh wait, you could also integrate (!) an Essence/Core with it and use that to wake you up with the Tunein radio function there.
This way it would turn on the V1.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
I can integrate a essence or a core? Anybody now, whats the price for a core? Maybe this is a option to use the speaker. How does the TV start? Wake on lan?
Thanks
This may help:

Look at page 4
The timer/s will have to be made in the Bang Olufsen app.
When integrated, the Essence/Core will use the speakers of the V1 as its own speakers,
and this way turn on the tv at the programmed time/source.
Of course the V1 must be configured for this - including WOL.
Thank you!
Ich will try this and ask my dealer. Maybe this is a solution.

Can you tell me how you have done this? I am thinking of buying one to connect my B&O Equipment with my smart home "DIGITALSTROM"
If that is what you aim for, it definitely is the way to go.
I did not suggest it because not that many B&O owner want/need a BLGW.
I am looking for a BLGW to test it, but the retail price is to high for just one test.
