Hi everyone,
I have a BEOSOUND 9000 and a BEOVISION AVANT 55 (1st model). My speakers are connected to the TV (Beolab 18 and 19) with RJ45 cables. I would like to have the sound of my BS9000 on my speakers WITHOUT A BEOLINK NL/ML ! I don't need to operate the BS9000 with the TV remote.
I would like to know if this is possible to connect the BS9000 to the TV with the "AV IN" input ? If yes, is this a powerlink cable or another one that I have to use ?
Thanks for your support,
Fred
You could use something like this:

There is a tv - and there is a BV
I had this setup, but with the BV11-55. I used a SPDIF cable to connect the two digitally, and it worked perfectly. The only thing is that you will not be able to use the radio on the BS9000 (which is not an issue for most), and the only thing you will be able to do with the remote for the BS9000 is turn it on . Steve from SoundHeavenly has the cable here https://www.soundsheavenly.com/beolab-5-beolab-50-and-beolab-90/34--spdif-.html
I do not know what connectors the Avant has, so check first.
BV11-55, BS9000, BL1, BL19, Transmitter 1, Beo4, Beocom 6000, BeoTalk1 200, Sennheiser HD600, McIntosh MHA100
The Avant (1st gen) also a digital input port - so no problem there, if it is just about cd playback.
But still it is a halfbaked solution —
