Hi
I am new to the forum and I have no experience with Bang and Olufsen components. I need help.
I purchased a system at an estate sale and have connected a Beosound 3200 to Beolab 8000 speakers using the 8 pin connectors.
I can successfully play a CD, however, I am unable to adjust the volume. Neither of the volume buttons nor the Mute button on the face of the 3200 do anything.
When I try to adjust the volume using the Setup button I get a message that says " Use TV".
I have a remote in which I have installed new batteries but it seems unable to make any connection with the 3200.
I am hoping that someone can give me some advice.
Thanks in advance.
John
Hi John,
The BeoSound has three different optionsettings:Option 0. Used in a fully integrated Audio/Videosystem with no speakers connected to theBeoSound . The sound is reproducedthrough the speakers in the TV, or throughspeakers connected to the TV.
Option 1. Used when the BeoSound is used on itsown or in an Audio/Video integrated setup, withactive speakers connected to the BeoSound (factory setting).
Option 2. Used in a two-room Audio/Video integrated setup. The programming is done with a Bang &Olufsen remote control Using a Beo4…Audio/video setup BEO4:Hold the ''•'' button downwhile pressing LISTNow let go of both buttonsPress LIST until OPTION? is displayedPress GOPress LIST once to display A.OPTWhen A.OPT is blinking in the Beo4 display press 1

You are awesome!
The house is rocking now!
Thank you so much.
I have the same issue, but I don’t have a remote, is there a way to do this from the units touchpad? There isn’t a “list” button on the keypad.
Thanks,
Mike
I have some spares remote if you need one.
"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"
Thanks, these are the Beo4, right? can you let me know how much you’re asking with shipping to the USA?
