OK here is the deal...
I updated both my ipads and iphone and now none of them work at all with regards to comunicating with B&O! It is now way past the time that B&O get told to get their act into gear? This has been going on for years. I am done with this nonsense. What is wrong with this stupid company? You cannot sell this premium product at such prices and expect people to just accept that it will only work sometimes! I am so ******* with this stupid company.

Everything worked until I updated last night. Now nothing! ***stupid beyond belief stupid company! i am so *** i want to sell all of it, fo r ever!

I can apologise for language but really? i am so angry. Nothing but issues with these speakers. Yes they may be able to be sorted but who told me that when I buy these I need to spend hours every week on this site learning how to blow smoke up the B&O backside for ever and a day to get them to function as they were sold?
I'm sorry Mikipidia. I am a reasonable guy but this is just yet another issue with these speakers! For me it is insane that a manufacturer can sell something at such a price and then subject their customer to so much grief? A simply update that I was urged to take has destroyed the connectivity of my 30k speakers! That I cannot accept. I had friends round tonight that wanted to hear these speakers. How embarrassing? Tonight they do not work! 30k speakers that DO NOT WORK? Unforgivable!
If you upgraded your OS(s) to iOS 14 public beta, you can expect to see bugs. Everywhere. It’s beta. If you can, file the bug with Apple, then downgrade back to iOS 13.x.

My first thought too.I can't help thinking, that it must be a minor thing, most likely some setting in the app, that needs redoing after the update.OP, there are people here trying to help you, - could you please clarify what you have and what the problem is exactly?What have you tried, what happens and any error-messages or similar?

Sorry everyone. I do apologise for my rant last night.
I just question whether I am made for this 2020 world? For me I expect things to work reasonably well at any level, and in a superior way if you pay a premium? That is how it always was?
But my Beolab 50's seem to have some sort of issue every few weeks! After such an "investment" that is not an easy pill to swallow. When you have nice things life is supposed to be easier? Apparently not?'
So anyway...yet again I unplugged it all overnight and today it was working again. That s good but I still find it hard to accept these things being tripped up every few weeks? At some point they will get permanently tripped? That is very worrying. It has already happened to Beolab 5.
But once again I am sorry for the loss of control and thanks very much for those trying to help. That was kind.
Well all can say is the app update didn't go down well... I updated an ipad mini 4 and an iphone SE and then both refused to recognise the beolab 50's. My ipad mini 2 that was not updated still saw them! After a power off they all saw them. Most of the issues I have with these speakers seem to be app related? But why should I be subjected to this constant on off on off nonsense? I think the world has lost touch with reality? Can you imagine buying a record deck in 1975 which you constantly had to update and improve or it just stopped working? No-one would accept that but that is precisely what we are all expected to accept as normal today??? Not me!
Does that mean that your BL50’s are for sale?

The environment that deck was used in , was very limited and controlable. Nowadays all (internet connected) devices, makes numerous possible configurations with third party brands as extra. There was a reason that B&O in the past kept all its (installation)software for itself. Installations were (and still are for the ones who want that) then trouble free. But as soon as a customer is eager to handle on his own and makes hardware or software changes, it forces dealers and/or B&O to solve the caused inconvienience. I've looked at the list of solved problems in the latest Apple update, and that's pretty long list. I think that is indeed an era we entered and have to deal with.
