Beosound M5 automatically turns on

Hi

i just got the Beosound M5 and have connected a record player to it through the line-in.

I am experiencing that even though i swith the M5 off to standby mode using the app it randomly turns back on with a droning kind of bass sound. No music playing just a very loud bass noise.

Anyone who has any clue about how I might be able to overcome that issue?

Hi Helge and welcome.

First thing to do....plug out the line-in connected record player.

Does that help?

Thanks for the tip. I had a hunch the line-in record player was the problem.

I’ve unplugged the pre amplifier i had connected and just using the inbuild one in the record player and that seems to have done the trick.
