Hi All,
i ran into a faulty transistor on the power supply board: 2TR6 = BC119
can someone advise if a BC141 (similar type) would work as a replacement or if not,
is there a equivalent you can suggest ??
Thank you kindly
ALF
That is like to need circuit values adjusted. Take a look at this table of substitutes: https://alltransistors.com/crsearch.php?mat=Si&struct=NPN&pc=0.8&ucb=60&uce=30&ueb=5&ic=1&tj=200&ft=40&cc=25&hfe=40&caps=TO39

Thank you - yes I have seen that table.
I was thinking of a BC 141-16 transistor as a replacement for testing only until I get the BC119 transistors.
So far so good 👍😁
looks like the BC 141-16 transistor worked and after replacing one of the glass reed switches the 6V rail is back in business.
