Hi, apologies if I have posted in the wrong forum.
I have a Beovision 7-40 linked to a Beolab 7-4 and a pair of Beolab 6000's. All was working fine until a couple of weeks ago when the 7-4 stopped producing any sound!! On switching on the speaker clicks and the led on the rear of the unit turns green. I have re-configured the set up to use the 6000's from the center channel (stereo rather than 2.1) but would like to get the 7-4 working again. Can anyone point me towards what the problem may be?

Hallo dilksie,
I have purchased a Beolab 7-4 second hand. It arrived very well packed, but unfortunately it shows the same behaviour as you have described in your question.
Did you find any solution for this issue?
Best regards
Gerhard
Hi,
Do you have other BeoLab speakers in your home ?
If yes, swob one of those speakers with the BL7-4.
You'll be able to rule out misconfiguration of the TV, bad cables etc.

R.
Hallo,
for testing I have removed the powerlink and power cables from a Beolab 8000 and plugged them into the Beolab 7-4.
On the other end of the powerlink cable there is a Beovison 7-32.
When I switch the system on the LED on the back side of the Beolab 7-4 changes from red to green, and there is a click. But no sound from the speaker. The other Beolab 8000 is playing sound.
Yesterday in the evening I switched on again and to my surprise it worked. But today no sound again.
Before I had connected the Beolab 7-4 with a powerlink cable to my Beosound 9000. Also green LED but no sound.
the Beolab 7-4 has played two times in the evenings. One day I have listened about an hour to it. Good sound quality. But unrotunately no sound to other times.
Any ideas how to fix this issue and reanimate this nice speaker?
