Hi To everyone, I am just wondering if someone can help me,  I am loooking at buying a pair of Beolab 1 Speakers which have come from the states and I would like to know If I can plug these into my Beovision 3 32" or would I need adapters, for the power or connectors for this to work.

I would also like to know if the Beolabs are renowned for any particular problems that I should look out for before purchasing.

Thanks In Anticipation Peter

No problem attaching them but you will need to change the power supply. You could use a mains transformer but much neater just to get your dealer to change the module - pretty sure this is a fairly common procedure.

Beolab 1s are good - sometimes criticised for being a little bass light and steely at the top end - I think they sound very good!

Hi Peter Thanks for that,

how much would you think it would cost to change the module on them?

Thanks Peter

Love my bl1's . Not aware of any thing to look out for in the pre-loved world except visual damage to polished body , foot and fret.

Lets know how it goes for you.

Hello Peter,

One (more or less obvoius) detail: Your BV3-32 must be equipped with the (optional) Dolby-Module so that you can connect the Beolab1 via Powerlink to the BV3.
A BV3 without the Dolby-module (like mine) has no connectors/sockets for external speakers, but AFAIK the Dolby-module can be retrofitted if necessary.

Cheers
