I've received my lovely BNIB Beolink 1000, and it works beautifully, but I can't figure out how to switch the BC8000 to Aux or Tape 2, and given that  one is connected to my TV, and the other to my iPod, that's a bind. Anyone know whether it's possible?

Tape 2 is SHIFT + A.TAPE.

As I recall you didn't have other B&O kit around, so you might want to solve the TV problem by programming your Beocenter to audio option 2: then it will turn on with AUX selected simply by pressing TV.

  1. Put it on standby
  2. Press SOUND, 2, STORE on your Beolink
  3. Enjoy!

(the normal setting is option 1, meaning the Beocenter will only respond to audio commands)

Thanks, I may do that! I'm pondering whether to look for a Beovision 3 used, or instead to go for a cheap HD flat screen. There's nothing wrong the with TV I have, but it would be nice to control everything from the one remote, but equally, it'd be nice to have HD, and there's no way I can afford a B&O HD set.
