i have a beocenter 7000 i am trying to get working.  the fm and cassette work fine.  i have the right speaker cables and get good sound.

the problem is the turntable.  everything funtions except the left channel.  it is not the cartridge and i just got a new working mmc20en and still no left channel.  tried deoxit on the contacts on the tonearm.

any other ideas?

thanks for any help!

Welcome to Beoworld !

A bit difficult to diagnose at distance.
Could be a pulled or skewed connector somewhere, could be a problem in the RIAA preamp
or the source selector.
Could also be a broken wire inside the tonearm.
You will have to poke around a bit inside, follow the signal path backwards from the amplifier
and find where the signal gets lost.
