greetings all,

I am looking at a Beocenter 9500 - nice item, however the CD cover/door has to be opened/closed manually:-(

is this likely to be a mechanical prob only  and/or is there a designated board that controls  the movement of those covers and may have faulty components to be checked-out ?

furthermore, how difficult is it to get to this part without getting a fit or heart-attack??

grateful for any clue - suggestion - support from you guys

best from down-under..........ALF

Do you hear anything when you attempt to open the door? It's likely just needing a belt replacement.
