Hi

If I use a beo4 or beolink 1000 in order to control the volume of a beomaster 6500 then the beomaster cust off above 50.

If I take my mcp 6500 it works perfectly, I can set the volume to 70 with no problem at all.

i tried with another beomaster, same behaviour.

Do I absolutely need a master control panel in order to have full control of the volume ?

My BM6500 goes to a max of 78, either with the MCP or Beo4.

I don't understand why the both beomaster react like that.

Well, it seems it comes from the power socket.
