Maab: So, is the bv 12-65 being discontinued?

Yes, it is being discontinued.

Awaiting the 4K compatible BeoSystem 4 :)
moxxey:I spoke with my dealer at lunch and he said they were able to (and did) order the BV10-40 and 46 long after the launch of the BV11, through B&O. It wasn't dealer-stock. B&O kept them in production for people who wanted a masterlink TV. You can't get them now of course, but you could for a while after the 2012 BV11 release.
I think B&O have got this really wrong if they don't offer a smaller screen size than 55" on their new TVs. Perhaps 55" has to be the minimum due to the moving/extending speakers, which would be understandable, but otherwise they are cutting out a lot of potential customers that can't accommodate such a size, myself included.
B&O products are V1-32, BS2, H95, E8 and an Essence remote.11-46 now replaced with Sony A90J 65”, Sony HT-A9, Sony UBP-X800M2 and Sony SRS-NS7.

Or was it that they made so many BVIS10 they couldn't sell them. like we have to work all through the night to keep up with demand. It's all Tuespin :)

.... or if the 10-40 and 10-46 was still being produced "for people who wanted MasterLink" wouldn't it have been a great to have given BV11 owners the option of a MasterLink Module... or is that too much business sense to accommodate customers who have spent thousands on ML cabling throughout their homes and want the latest products?
Fine, don't build it in - but if people want to pay for ML capability then at least offer it to them. I know plenty of people who have said "okay, if ML is finished - we're finished with B&O... Hello Samsung and Sonos!"
Only a thought...
mjmedlo:Doesn't the ML/NL converter do just that? Provide ML for the new televisions?
The thruth about the BV10's (40/46) sold after the launch of the 11 is plain simple: the had produced/ordered too many.
They even had to make a deal with a danish luxury-hotel to 'get rid of' the last ones.
Sins of the past!

There is a tv - and there is a BV
