I am looking for a complete and working amplifier module for a Beomaster 8000 to replace one witha very stubborn intermittent failure currently on my workbench.I'm in Denmark but I will gladly pay for postage.Buy or trade.

Are you really throwing the towel Martin? YOU ?
Then it must be some problem indeed! Like a voodoo spell or something ;-)

Thanks, Jacques. You know I like to do all kinds of repairs, and particularly stubborn and challenging repairs are often the best. This repair definitely belongs in the particularly stubborn category. It's a repair that was handcarried to me bythe owner, living a good distance away, and it will be handcarried back as well.An intermittent fault like this can take a long time to find and even when you actually found and corrected thefault you may not realize until after a considerable time of testing. How and when can you be sure ?I want the owner to return with a fully working Beomaster so I'd like to replace the complete module. The other module will be repaired, of course, but I will be spending time on it between other things and have itrunning in the background rather than speed it through.I have a little of this and a little of that in the dungeons but I am very low on Beomaster 8000 parts at present sohopefully a good module will show up soon.
My spares are complete but probably not all working. They either need repair or recapping. Here are the left and right Output Amplifier boards (Module 5). The one for the right channel looks like it is probably in need of repair. The left one might be okay.
I will dig out my other BM8000 spare in a bit and see what those Output Amplifier modules look like.

Here are the two Output Amplifier boards from my last spare BM8000. This pair might be in a little bit better shape but they are not ready to use.
Still looking ....
