Hi

I have been wondering if I should get my Beoport back in business as it has been packed away for some years now. Where are some issues I would like to hear if some of you know:

Can I ad a internet radio URL if my favorite is not listed in the player?

Where can I find old sw versions ? I like the one where the colored buttons are for Genre, Artist, Album and the last one I can't remember. I think it is prior to sw 4.83.

Sounds like you are using Windows ... so I can't comment as it is almost a decade since I used my BeoPort with Windows

However with the integration with iTunes on a Mac it is possible to have a non-B&O endorsed internet radio

So which software are you looking for ?

- the BeoPort's firmware

- BMLink

- LinkPlayer 1

- LinkPlayer 2 Beta

Thanks a lot.

Regarding the Beoport SW, is has to the 4.83 as that has the old functions of the color buttons. I am struggling a little with the Linkplayers functionality How to move from playlist to playlist ext. but it looks like a nice software to replace the Beoport.

Hello,

A question puzzles me.

With Playaker and essence, WMA Lossless is disappearing and FLAC seems to be the standard for lossless music.

I installed the FLAC codec on my PC, and I'm able to play FLAC files with Windows Media Player.

Unfortunately, these files are not detected by the Beoport application during the scan.

Is there a workaround?

I would prefer to limit the number of music fomats and WMA for Beoport, FLAC for Playmaker and ALAC for Ipad takes too much disk-space.

Thanks for your help,

Yann.
