Century sound won't adjust

When I press sound all the options come up - balance, bass, treble, loudness, but then when I press up or down - all that happens is volume goes up or down........

Am I being a muppet (don't think so cos my other century obeys my commands..) or does it need to go to the doctor?

Sussed it....

Looks like Mk1 it's up and down to adjust. On Mk2 it's <step and step>.
