Hi, can anyone tell me if a Beogram 9500, will work with a Beomaster 6500? The record deck works fine with my very old B&O amp, but when I try it with the 6500 amp I get very little output. I've only just bought the 6500 amp so it could be faulty, but it was advertised as fully operational. The Beomaster radio works fine, plenty of volume/output. Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks, Mike

The Beomaster 6500 does not have a built in RIAA pre amp and neither does the Beogram 9500, hence the low output.

You can cure this by using a stand alone pre amp between the two or using a deck with a built in pre amp such as Beogram 3500, 4500, 6500 or 7000.

Thanks for the info. I bought a pre-amp and all is working well. Can you tell me if an IPOD will work with the Beomaster 6500?

Thanks again,

Mike

Yes it will. Just plug it into the AUX socket. (you'll probably need an adapter)
