Does anyone know where I can purchase replacement parts for B&O equipment? In particular interested in active speaker drive units and amplifiers.

The short answer is: at the dealer. If they refuse to sell you parts (many do), try the next one. It helps if you delve into the service manuals yourself and have the exact spare part numbers ready when you make inquiries.

Apart from simple generic electronic components, many spares are specific to B&O and you cannot second source them (speaker drivers often very much so). You can sometimes find them on popular auction sites, but the prices aren't always better there.

@tournedos Many thanks. I wonder if B&O have a policy preventing dealers from selling parts? Would probably make sense for them in keeping the B&O elite image.

As Mika said, some dealers will happily help you with parts but not all.
I think, it's the dealers own decision what - and what not to spend time on.

This thread is interesting as it makes me wonder how B&O will satisfy BV12 customers since Panasonic have now discontinued with plasma technology? Do B&O still have their 10 year part service on offer that they always used to? A great selling point in my opinion. Surely they don't buy and keep hundreds (if not more) of spare panels just in case, do they?

B&O products are V1-32, BS2, H95, E8 and an Essence remote.
11-46 now replaced with Sony A90J 65”, Sony HT-A9, Sony UBP-X800M2 and Sony SRS-NS7.

Give Simon a call at http://www.avaservices.co.uk/

They have always been very helpful for any spares that I have needed.
