What is wrong with B&O?

I have loved the brand since I have been a kid, & all their designs.

What is lacking from this company is something small and cute unit that does everything.

Why cannot B&O make a unit that plays discs, accepts bluetooth/wifi input, has FM, DAB, DAB+ etc…..? It would be a market killer.  The beolit, constantly has to be connected to a signal.

Where is a digital radio at least?  Grrrrrr!!!!

Not everybody can be bothered being connected to an input every time they want to listen to music (hence the big sale of a simple unit, like the Bose POS).

They sell those crap Bose wave things by the truck load, with the same functionality.

They have been making that nonsense since I was a kid.

HELLO…. B&O,

TAKE THEM ON!  Beolit alarm clock!!!

If B&O made something like that, they would sell by the truck load.

Entry market level buying which would lead to a love of the brand.

The beosound 3 had nice sound, but flawed, not being DAB/DAB+.

Please B&O, Make another portable, and show them how it is done, and has been done.

The Avant has a new show.  Give the Century one.

Fix it, or I am getting the next flight to Denmark to save THE company I love.  Stick out tongue

Thoughts??

Do it!!

NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Loewe offer quite a good product in this category, I also agree its a shame that B&O don't offer such a product.  But isn't there a new music product around the corner?

The BeoSound Moment ---- I doubt that that will play discs, and have a bluetooth-input - well - probably not either.

Why should we need a DAB(+) receiver nowadays? Or FM Crying

I assume also that a new Beosound will be a kind of Essence that can be connected directly to a Beosystem 4 based Beovision via Netlink. But without any physical drive for CD/DVD/Bluray or DAB/FM, for sure!

My buddy Michael.  How are you?

Long time no speak.

Speaking of MS KHAN, did you see her in Melbourne in January.

She could rip any of these new ones (Jokes) to shreds………. if you want cranking power in the voice.

I was front row, here some footage I uploaded on Youtube.

She cranks it for a grandmother.  Tina has retired, CHAKA'S TURN!!!!!!

Bit shaky at the start, but then she comes out properly.  I was holding the phone in the hand.  Didn't go there to film, but to enjoy.

Mille is right, what you need today is a broadband internet connection, CDs, DVDs and Blue rays are the past, so B&O are not going to go that road with a multiple functional device, a TV/amp/ distributor center, with internet connection is all what will be needed. The internet connection will be faster and better quality, music will be available in the resolution you want, or what you want to pay for.

I will stay with my vinyl as my main music source, and use the web for convenience.

Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.

Buddy.  Unless you have a god amp/speakers, ???  There is a big hole in B&O's market.  Gave my mother a geneva thing.  The Century kicks ***.  If the tone is set correctly.  B&O speakers sounds flat as shite (push the bass & the treble and loduness), unless they have the ACS.  Then they can compare to any other speaker.  My opinion.

I'm well :-)

I'm sure there is always room for improvement.

if my BS8 had a cd input and other functions i'm sure it would be more flexible.

I know others who would like to have a radio (DAB), CD, and streaming solution all in one.

How about a stackable system with seperate components available to be purchased seperately? Then you could buy your own customized system...

I took a look at the M100 System: perfect possibilities, wonderful sound, but the operation was a little bit sluggish - too sluggish when you see the price tag  Surprise
