Just picked this up. The cartridge looks to be in fine shape. All parts work and move wonderfully.
However, I get great sounding audio out of just one channel. The other is muffled, distorted. My instinct says its just a bad RCA cable (no visible sign, though I've yet to open it up and look), but I'm nervous my instinct is just wishful thinking.
Is this a common problem? Any suggestions as to where I should start or how I can identify the problem?
Thanks everyone. I love the look of this thing, but I'd like it to be more than furniture.
