Hi,
the collection continues ! I've got yet another Beomaster 900k that I'm beginning to bring back to life. This one has both speakers coil fried (no sound or movement when testing with a battery).

I've found this post http://archivedarchivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/t/20659.aspx talking about replacements but I'm not really sure what to do...

Every 6x4 car speakers I see seems just plain wrong (strange 2 or 3 ways design with flashy yellow color and insane wattage) even those from supposedly decent brands (jbl, pioneer...). Plus, i'm afraid the shape of the speaker plate will not fit the wooden case.

I can't find any vintage replacement option or really cheap Beomaster to harvest parts from.

Does anyone has a better idea to replace those elliptical speakers ?

Thanks a lot :)

Does your Beomaster have Sinus or Seas speakers ?

They are green/grey-ish, no brand on them only "O-4654-Y 3,2 Ω" on the back of the coil and "443" on the bottom left corner.

Thanks Martin.

That's a Sinus speaker.

I've been searching for both :

Sinus 0-4654
Seas 15/11

with no success...

Ah it seems the Seas driver was also used as midrange on Beovox 2400. I'll see if I can find an old pair.

Juanitito,

If you cant get orginal, then try a similar.
Better have a 900K alive then dead.

Try RILA TS4640
I think they will fit.

Hifi Kits webpage is not in english, but send them a message in englih, and they will help you.
Its a very reliable store, I have bought from them for about 30 years.

...........and please dont slaughter a pair of BV2400.

Then one B&O is killed to make another one alive, particular when you can get spareparts and keep 2 B&O alive ;)

Don't worry Christian, I would not slaughter a repairable pair of BV2400 :) The Rila solution sounds nice, I just sent a mail to the website.

Thanks !
