Not sure what to say about marketing sugary water but Beoplay has launched a limited edition H6 with Pepsi in silver/navy blue.

PS. I´d rather see them work with (RED) and lauch red H6´s for a good cause. Cooler and not promoting unhealthy sodas.

They have the pepsi logo on the inside. There is a youtube ad with pepsi colors and products from B&O and perhaps pepsi (cant watch it now) and the headphone is made to look like the pepsi colors so I´d say it is very much a Pepsi connection Smile.

I don't feel very confident in the fact that they collaborate with Pepsi.

You gotta admit though it's a pretty nice blue!

I thought by the name that Live for Now was a charitable foundation, however, it's just a fashion statement.  I laughed at myself.

I still have a soft spot for the agave green H6, for which i bought a pair of similar pepsi blue noise cancelling beats headphones.

Yes, I like the colour (navy blue + silver!) but I don't like the Pepsi collaboration (I dropped considerably in weight when I stopped drinking cola).

A friend of mine has the agave green H6 and I have the black ones, they both look great!

I suppose the connection with Pepsi is that soda companies have always pitched their products that "they are always with you when you are having fun or experiencing a moment"

If it reaches a new audience, wasn't this the ethos when launching B&O PLAY?  I hope they sell and bring much needed revenue into the company.

Michael, I hear what you say about product RED: maybe they can do a version too.

Personally I don't care for Pepsi (or any other 'sugar water').

But why not - it is a nice way to reach new costumers, so Yes - thumbs up from me too.

The aim with the release of the H6 is to go after Beats by DrDre headphones, worn by all the kids (although it seems less now). So they're doing this to get some "street cred".

Form 2i's also involved in the promotion.  And a new retail outlet: Bloomingdale's

Those look pretty cool.

But do take notice where the fashion industry is heading..... Chanel has just released a pair of headphones with Monster.

(well if only somebody cared about what I posted earlier this year....)

It's inevitable that fashion and technology will completely fuse.

If you are going to collaborate with a street brand do it with a brand who has design credentials like Adidas. Otherwise why bother.

And how come no audiophile portables yet? There's such a craze and demand for audiophile now as one can see even from headline making crowd funding audio projects that ignoring the market is just insane! And I am still trying to fathom why.

I feel like B&O is starting to behave like a luxury brand becoming a street brand who is attempting at luxury.

And somebody is right about B&O needing to start having a little bit of philanthropic and activistic aspirations because that is what is in now.

Where is the strive for excellence? I feel like design and audio quality has taken such a backseat now that it's hard for B&O to be high brow.

Mechanical moving speakers below a TV for show? I believe good sound will speak for themselves... People can read the specs. 4 inch central woofer and....? come on... What's with the fuss? Form must follow function. Is the mechanism supposed to save space? I don't understand.

earsmackingsoundquenching..... Although I like Pepsi I'm not sure it's the brand for B&O to connect with, it should be Marmite.

we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.

Sorry if you are not from the UK you may not understand my comment, Marmite campaigns heavily on the fact that you either love or hate their product.

Apparently similar to vegemite, which we are aware of thanks to the 'Men At Work' song.

Over here if they really wanted to get attention they should do a bright red one with a tie in to Sriracha sauce.Devil
