Hi all,

I'm a Beovision 5 owner for the last few years, the BV5 randomly has no power (red light indicator off).. but after awhile (a week or 2).. the red light comes back again... Now I was thinking that has something to do with being fogged by air-conditioner at night with the power circuit.. just wondering if anyone has ever been thru this? Any feedback will be fine! I have no idea whats happening!

Thanks all in advance, mind my english thanks.. not a very english person, i can read though!

Welcome to Beoworld!

in the past my own BV5 has done odd things with the red standby light, but usually a reset with a short disconnection from the mains has sorted it out.

If your TV switches on and responds correctly to the Beo4 I would be inclined to leave well alone. If you mean that your TV has no power when the red light is not present then maybe someone else can give you better advice. I would expect the TV to ask for its PIN if the power had been off for more than 30 minutes, but it would be worth checking that you haven't got a faulty or intermittent mains connection.

Thanks Graham for the answer!

But what I meant was the red light was not present, and the red light will present after like 2 weeks or so... then everything's working fine.. so I bet its really something to do with the moist and power circuit and the connections! but thanks for the reply graham! I've already asked a technician to come and check...
