I've been using my Beomaster 5500 and Beogram 5500 for awhile now and love it. I recently picked up a Beogram CD 4500 because of its top loading beauty, but now that I've got it hooked into the 5500 via the Dinn CD port, I can't access any of the remote features for the CD player. All I get is a 'No Contact' signal. I'm new to this 'mixing and matching' stuff. Are the two not compatible? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

"No contact" usually points towards a lack of communication between the Beomaster (!) and the Master Control Panel.
Else check if the captured cable from the CD4500 has all seven pins in the plug or only five or six.

Thanks Martin! That's exactly what it was. Added a couple of finishing nails to the dinn to make the connection and voila! super! The original plug only had five pins.
