I'm looking at upgrading my BV7 32" (well retiring it to the kitchen)

What is the general forums opinion please on the BV10 32"

Thanks

Luv my 10-32, which we use in our kitchen, wall mounted with swing out bracket. Have a BL11 sub attached. Fantastic!

Adore my BV10-32. I had a BV7-32 years ago and the BV10 has a far better picture. Mine is on the wall, between framed paintings and the BV10-32, with the orange fret, looks like another framed painting!

I don't think you would regret a bv 10 32. They are just beautiful.

Not for very long. B&O will be releasing another 32" TV next year as I understand.

B&O products are V1-32, BS2, H95, E8 and an Essence remote.
11-46 now replaced with Sony A90J 65”, Sony HT-A9, Sony UBP-X800M2 and Sony SRS-NS7.

I guess the 10-32 only exists because they have ordered to many.

When gone, then gone!

Imo - it would be very pleasing if there would be another 32" BV, but I hear that for the first time.

The european dealers generally do want another 32" tv.

But officially B&O states that it is too small --- most people would go for at least a 40" one - even as kitchen- or bedroom-tv in - the future.

MM

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Yes, not sure where Simon heard a new 32" is coming. According to my dealer they don't get asked for them and the BV10-32 was overpriced (still true, as a 2012 pre-loved model is £2500).

B&O need to focus on their BV11 strategy - pricing, chassis, panel. More people want a 40" or 46" over a 55". A 55" is quite the commitment, especially when you really need additional speakers with an Avant, IMHO. Extra speakers requires more space and suddenly your room looks more like a media portal than a living room, which is something most traditional old-school B&O customers want to avoid.

Thank you very much for all for your comments.

Agree Moxxey the BV10 32" even pre loved is slightly overpriced but I have a size issue due to the age, decor and style of my house, and I'm still not forgiven for my Penta purchases.

Looking at the Avant where should the BV11's price point be?

Oh you won't regret a BV10-32 purchase. I didn't and mine was priced higher than £2500! I think mine was a pre-loved, priced a shade under £3000, but then I did trade-in my BC6-26 against it, bringing down the price further. I'd certainly recommend one, even at the current price point. I'm well impressed with my BV10-32, fret choices, the fact it looks like a picture frame on the white wall, etc etc.

Heard it from another dealer Chris so I am assuming the information is correct.

Love my 10-32 which is wallmounted in the kitchen, all cables hidden in the wall and the Apple-TV actaully did fit into the connection panel - and the cable box (GET Micro) is so small that it sits on top of the shelf on the back of the TV.

B&O dropped the 32" V1 since they could not get quality 32" panels anymore - and this is of course due to a lack of demand globally. I remember when B&O thought that the BV5 (42") was all the tv any European livingroom would ever need, and now the trend analysis show that 70" to 80" is the what the customers will be looking for next. I guess B&O will have to further develop their motorized stands :-)
