Can anyone shed light on the best version/revision ATV to buy for my recently acquired BV9 Mark I? The dealer has recommended an earlier 720p (second generation I believe) ATV but the later model also supports 720p as well as 1080p so curious as to why a second generation model would be better?

Thanks... Simon.

B&O products are V1-32, BS2, H95, E8 and an Essence remote.
11-46 now replaced with Sony A90J 65”, Sony HT-A9, Sony UBP-X800M2 and Sony SRS-NS7.

Go for the 3rd Gen. - HD (1080) Content runs smooth.

The only advantage of the 2nd Gen. is imho the jailbreak ability. (we sold our 2nd Gen).
