Hi All,

Please be assured that the Kitchen spam is being dealt with. Keith is blocking IP address and ranges as they pop up, and it's not a sad lonely person at a PC - it's a very sophisticated spam-bot which targets forums of all natures and varieties, not just us...

It seems to be able to get around the registration process, replying to the link sent in order to get a username and password - but as mentioned they all have IP addresses, which we are blocking. We've zapped most of the ranges it seems to use, hence the fall in frequency of these posts.

If it continues, we will just temporarily place the word "kitchen" under "serious profanity" in our score system - which will auto-delete the post.  However, when a member proudly declares his or her delight after installing a new TV or speaker in his or her kitchen I'm afraid it'll be marched off on a trip straight to the sin-bin!

Difficult, but I just wanted you to know we were on it....

Lee

Keep it up Lee it's very much appreciated.

Sick of seeing those so glad they are being dealt with.

Dave.

Send it all my way!

Sliced to 1/4" and panfried with some proper pastuerized processed cheese food slices on top!

YUM!

As one who owns a kitchen company in Virginia, we are used to "serious profanity". Proceed.
