Does WISA also mean Airplay?

Hi beoworlders,

So we now have WISA which means that BV's can talk directly to BL's, but does having WISA inbuilt in the speaker also mean that they have airplay inbuilt too?

Or... is this is what the essence is for?

WISA does NOT mean airplay - different frequencies, different technology.   Yes, this is what the essence or playmaker is for.

WISA and Airplay are 2 different protocols...
