Hi all I have a 1980 Beocenter 7000 and was wondering if I could connect a subwoofer to the speaker 2 output? Cheers Phil.

What sort? If a passive one, the answer is yes though most will have outputs for the normal speakers which will filter out the lowest frequencies and so are best attached to the Speaker 1 connection and the other speakers attached to the sub-woofer.

If active, you have a different issue as the output from Speaker 2 is amplified.
