2-pin euro power plugs in UK

I have just collected a BeoSystem 5500, an eBay purchase. My first B&O! Each of the components is fitted with a 2-pin euro mains plug. I was wondering what is best practice for plugging it in?

I know you can get "permanent" euro to UK converter plugs that clip over the euro plug. The other alternative is a 4-gang Schuko socket - I think euro plugs fit in schuko sockets, can anyone confirm? I haven't been able to find a 4-gang euro socket anywhere.

Euro will fit in Schuko socket.
