Very cool! Nice simple design that recalls the era of slide rules and analog measuring devices (something I'm sadly old enough to remember, along with analog dial meters and "digital" displays based on nixie tubes).

Slide rulers were very effective....my father used one in his work.

 

I like the design - very thinking outside the square.

I posted this same design a long time ago on the old forum. There was also another slide rule inspired radio, but I can't find anymore. Sad
