It's a TV *for* the Apple TV.

I still think an Apple TV would be cheaper than £1999 for a 32" though. Maybe B&O are trying to impress Apple by suggesting that they should consider the V1 as a forerunning for the forthcoming Apple TV proper.

There were a few news stories around in the last couple of years about the pattents apple have made around 3d technology (around glasses free screens and eye tracking technology), so I think apple will be bringing out there own tv some time in the future with 3D.

Reports are out now suggesting the Apple TV project has been pushed back to 2014 because of current retail conditions in the TV market.
