And I use obsolete CDs as bird scare, oh what a lack of imagination...

Now, just waiting for first "newbie" question: "Will my Beogram 4000 play my Cds?"

I tried to go a further step back and invite musical bands around to my house until I was issued with a court order.......

we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.

This reminds me of the "repurposing" of records that I've seen.  I've seen 12" records partially melted into bowls with the label in the center.  One of the biggest ripoffs I've seen is 7" singles folded to a 90 deg. angle as bookends.  Cost per pair:  $17.
