There have been discussions on removing, transferring or applying new rosewood veneer on the sides of the Beomaster 8000. It looks like the wood veneer is laminated to a plastic panel that may be removable. Does anyone know how to remove the front and side panels? This woud facilitate wood veneer replacement. Thanks

Open the Beomaster into service position.
The front panel sits with five locking "fingers" and can be twisted off using a small flat bladed screwdriver.
Then the two side panels can be pushed forward a bit and come off too.

Page 7-4 in the service manual.

Edit: And before someone asks; The Beomaster 8000 is the only unit in the 6000/8000 range where the
wooden trim are on separate panels. All other units have the veneer stuck directly onto their plastic chassis'.
