Which one more better?
Many Thanks and Best Regards
20's without a doubt...
BL20s maybe better, but are they double-the-price better? No. There are some superb deals on outgoing BL9s on the market (at half the price of the BL20s) and they are a superb set of speakers, particularly for your TV.
Im curious to know if they are actually any better than BL9 (as a loudspeaker)... it definitely looks better, but isn't it basically the same specs as a BL9 just with wireless and a tweaked EQ?

I think the frequency range of the 20s is closer to the 5s, than the 9s? The 20s go down to 19.5 Hz, which is a chunk lower than the 9s.
I recently listened to the BL20s, and I think I am just spoiled by the BL5s. I did not think they were that great, but I am hoping it was just a bad recording given the feedback in this forum. Aesthetically it was quite nice in person, much better than from the pics. I also listened to the BL18s and was a bit underwhelmed. Beautiful speaker but it definitely needed a subwoofer. I cannot recall the sound of the BL9s, but it may be worth a comparison at a shop. I as also told that the BL20 still needed a subwoofer for a surround sound.
I have a great recording of Paganini 24 caprices which would be good to play across all th speakers for comparison, and maybe something lows uh as mulholland Drive to try out the bass.

I've never had 9s or 20s, only 5s, and the feedback I got on here was that the 20 is remarkably close to the 5. Someday when I'm in a town with a B&O shop (probably Houston for me) I will have to pop in and take a listen. I have my doubts, though, as even though the 5s are over a decade old now, there's a lot that makes them what they are. And I'm not just talking about sheer watts, either. The BL5 is on par with some of the best loudspeakers in the world. I'm not talking about 150k Wilsons or anything like that, but what is considered the best of the mainstream.
I have a lot of "Beovirus" myself, but I'm also a lover of electronics in general and I think most of B&O's other speaker ranges are just "good" sonically, but range from attractive to absolutely gorgeous in appearance. And depending on the application I find that is just fine. I know, I know, here come the spears my way :P
Interesting. I was at my dealers at lunch talking to him about my Avant install tomorrow.
Whilst I was there, I asked him to demo two George Michael tracks from the Symphonica live album - which sounds stunning on my BL18s - across his BL18s compared to the BL20s.
As expected, still sounded superb on the BL18s. The BL20s were equally superb, with the same bright sound you get from the BL18s. But, I noticed one key difference, which my dealer agreed: there was almost too much bass in places. This could be a real issue if you connected them to a TV and watched a movie. You could feel the vibrations in the floor from playing that audio track!
Personally, I'm more than happy with the BL18s. The BL20s are overkill, unless you have a HUGE room and/or a solid floor with no neighbours!
