Hi all. Have acquired 3 Lc1's and work OK by touch and in a fashion with a Beo4 , the instruction only give setting up with a 1000 remote that I don't any more . Can anyone help how to number and program light pictures with a Beo4 . Prefer these to the newer Lc2 dome type ?

Hi Richard, I had some trouble with that myself, you can read it here: http://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/p/10613/97260.aspx#97260.

If you miss the  "goto" button on the beo4, right? I have not tried to program it, and I have a beolink1000 to program it with. I also have not figured out individual light control, so my work around was to set it once using beolink1000, and select a scene with beo4 when i am on the couch.

If you arenot able to operate them, I am happy to buy them from you :). Just kidding, I am happy to do some testing with my own LC1 if you run into trouble.

Regards

If I remember correctly try instead of GOTO-button TRACK or LAMP button in LIGHT mode.

Good luck.

Hi all . Have the instructions and found a Beo1000 ( Mk2 I think from the back layout ) but can't seam to number each Lc1 as per the book . Light - stop on a Beo4 & 1000 turns all 3 off , light - 7 turns all on , but Light - 2 turns only one light on and Light -1 turns it off and dos'nt change any of the others. No mention in the book about using the LIGHT button as it says use Shift - Link but using Shift - Link doesn't do anything except change my Sky program . To add  to the confusion Light - 3 is bright on only on one lamp , Light 4 & 5 will dim it a little but can't dim any of the others  . Think I have set the Lc1's to Mk.2 operation .

Pressing LIGHT 1,2...9 will activate light scenes, not single lamps (LCs).

LIGHT - PLAY will start all lamps - LIGHT - STOP will shut down all lamps.

To start a single lamps (LC) press LIGHT - GOTO - 1,2...9.

To assign a lamp to a number press LIGHT - GOTO - 1,2...9 - STORE while (!) touching the LC1 plate.

To store a light scene press LIGHT - STORE - 1,2...9 - STORE.

To start all lamps (LCs) in the house pres LINK - LIGHT - PLAY (does only work with two way MCL systems).

To store a global light scene press LINK - LIGHT - STORE - 1,2...9 - STORE.

SHIFT - LINK is the LIGHT command on MKI BL1000.

Your LC1s seem pre owned, so pressing LIGHT 1, 2...9 will activate pre programmed light scenes.

Hope this helps.

Stefan

Agree with stephan that it looks like your LC1s are preset. You can reset them if you change them to beolink1000 MK1 operation, and than back to Beolink1000 MK2 operation. Or just try to set them for Beolink1000 MK2, even if they are already programmed to work with the MK2. At least that was how I managed to get rid of the presets:

Change to beolink 1000 MK2: LINK-LIGHT-GOTO-0-STORE

Just in case: Change to beolink 1000 MK1: LIGHT-GOTO-RESET-STORE. But GOTO and RESET are both a list function of Beo4, so that might not work.

Is the goto button on beo4 indeed track or lamp? Or perhaps find a Beolink 1000 MK3+ somewhere for 25€?

Hi . Will try using the Light key in the sequence to reset to Mk 1 - then to Mk2 . My book says Mk1 = Shift - Link - Go to - Reset - Store  , then for setting to Mk2 = Link - Shift - Link - Go to - 0 - Store . Book says when returning to Mk 2 function it deletes all light pictures . Will have a play tonight . Thanks , Richard

Hi . Still now working as it should , can turn all on and of , and can dim all with Light 2 . Perhaps the problem is I hav'nt got ' Reset ' on my 1000 so don't think I am making it Mk 1 before making it a Mk2 ?

Try SHIFT - MUTE for RESET.

It is in the List of Beo4 I think. I think I tried to make the sequence by using a Beolink1000 MK3 in combination with the Beo4 Reset button, but I am not sure.

Here I went wrong the first time: I did not use LIGHT for SHIFT-LINK. And for the Mk2 operation: LINK-LIGHT.

Good luck.
