vikinger: Puncher: It amazes me how many members we have that I haven't heard of before. Maybe the "readers only" are the people B&O should really be listening to, and the regular posters dismissed as either habitual complainers or looney brand fanatics!! I was just thinking the same.

Thanks to Botty for conducting affairs with his normal aplomb, he really should have a word with LEE and maybe offer a kindly word of advice or even, dare I suggest , training!

Thought so!
And another two pipes to one of the organs in Inwil or just in your living room?
Congrats to the winner near Luzern ...
Goodnight from me - see you all against in a quarter!
BeoNut since '75
This has to be the first prize draw I can recall where there have been no later comments by prize winners in the thread.
Graham
Agreed.. I'm starting to think people just aren't that bothered any more.
Prizes have been sent though. I think two are unclaimed as yet, but those who have received their prizes have all refunded the postage - so I know they've been received.
Lee
Is that because the prizes are no longer that desirable?
1st Prize a pair of Lab 6000's which you can hardly give away at the moment. Even our biggest sponsor has reduced it's list prices and I bet they would sell a pair for a lot less, 2nd prize a BV6-22 another must have nowadays!
I suggest that the prizes are either more desirable or bin the draw in the most equitable way possible.
There, I've said it.
I've pinned a target on my back.
Regards Graham
Hi,
I am a bit baffled too.
I was the happy winner of the same Beolab 6000 and I was more than happy to comment, and to say thanks to Lee of course. I also paid for shipping... I hope they have at the very least.
Jacques
I have a water tight alibi, i was in Eastbourne with no internet access (new thread promised)
But bad form imo, no feedback ?
Perhaps theres an inverse square correlation between the faster and more instant communication gets the less its used.............
