I've connected my BeoVision 4-65 to a BeoSystem 3 using the external IR eye with 8 wires and I'm only getting sound from the plasma but no pictures. It seems BV4-65 is not powering on at all. The plasma used to work fine when the IR cable was connected to the internal IR slot 3 on the back. Unfortunately, I broke some of the pins on the IR slot 3 and can only use the external IR eye now. The external IR sends a signal to all the other components connected to the BS3 except the plasma. I've triple checked all the connections and everything is connected the right way. BS3 is connected to the BV4-65 using the DVI cable in display 1, serial cable is connected to monitor socket and the external IR eye is connected into the 9 pin socket on the BS3. BeoSound 3200 is connected to BS3 using ML cable and BeoLabs 5 are connected using MKII. I have the Beo5 remote. I've tried everything possible including turning the system off many times for at least 8 hours but it still doesn't work. I really need help here. Also, does anyone know if I can have the IR slot 3 on the back of the BV4-65 replaced or repaired. Does B&O sell the parts? Thanks.

Hey there. I know this was a long time ago, but if you are still here, did you get this issue fixed? I have a similar issue.
