Will this fit perfectly on the old cd-rack aluminium stands that was used for the Beosoun 3200?

What can I say - if you are happy with that audio system, do settle with it.

I woudn't be happy with a collection of approx 120 albums and a lousy iPhone speaker - even if it has a nice case Crying

It seems to me, that anything said about how things can be done (by B&O), seems to be the same as critizicing or wanting to convert you - how come?

No, no. You didn't understand.

I love your post, except the parts telling all rest of us (who see things differently)  how to think, and what to write and how it is.

We are getting somewhat tired of your endless rants of how it really is. You're not the one who ultimately judges what I can think of a product from pictures of it. See, I do that part (for me).

Spread a little respect among others here, as I don't think anyone is correcting others as much you do.

@bayerische

But I seem to be the only one (writing on the forum), who has laid hands on the system - played with it and have seen the possibilities, but also the drawbacks.

If you want to judge it from the pictures - it is fine with me.

But that has nothing to do with how the Moment works - only with your dislikes/likes.

And for stating that, you really don't need many postings.

I'd gladly listen to your judgement, when you have experienced the system in real life - accept and respect it then.

Or better yet, just disregard my posts. See I don't need you to listen to my comments, I just don't like you analyzing every single word to death. And being Mr "right" as you've actually touched the thing.   You sound like a broken record.

I think the Moment sucks. There. Without seeing it. Smile

What I am missing most with the Moment is a search across the entire music database. The BS5 is a beautiful piece of hardware (especially compared to the "brick" Moment), but cumbersome at searching large music collections without a touchscreen. Now B&O has built a tablet computer with a touch interface, but doesn't use it's capabilities...

But a beer one day would be nice :)

It's great this this 'unusual' system for B&O is creating a lot of debate. I was only thinking today, wouldn't it be an amazing idea if B&O had commissioned Jacob Jensen to have designed this system. Beomaster 1900 style or 5000 series stack anyone? Who knows what it may of looked like and how exciting! Maybe B&O may, just may, use his services for another play product in time? Who knows?

Also, i'd like to point out that i've alwayed enjoyed the postings from both Bayerische and MM and I have to say that, even David Lewis didn't get everything right in terms of design - BV10/11, BS8 oh gosh yes but, BeoCentre2 BeoSound 4 etc I could never warm too. Design is indeed debating!

I agree, but come one. 5-15 cigars a day?
I am hoping that I manage to quit with the sigarettes, and then I could enjoy a cigar or my pipe on special occasions.
I think I have to change my avatar now, thanks to you..

Perhaps not replying to absolutely everyone's posts, and either trying to correct them or else spouting the company line may go some way to avoiding this sort of criticism.

I'm not sure how many have criticised the operation of the Moment, most are intrigued by the mood player and the other predictive playlist generator algorithms etc. To use it is to learn how well it operates, however - the industrial design is "challenging" (as Roger puts it) at best, to some the base is a large style-less lump when the tablet is removed and the tablet itself is,......... well, a generic tablet wedged in an aluminum case with a nice scroll wheel.

Some may find it beautiful, some may grow to put up with it while others will always think it's an ugly duckling - to repeatedly claim otherwise will not affect anyone's opinion at all - some will always dislike it and are allowed to say so if they wish!

Does anyone know if I with the Moment together with an ml/nl converter will be able to manage and control N-Music and N-Radio sources from ML products? If it will do that then I finally will get rid of my old beoport-ITunes soulutionSmile

The base tries to hark back to the grey/black 80's stacking system but is far, far too bulky, - imagine if it were thinner, more in the proportions of a BS5000 and the Moment tablet seemed certain to overbalance but didn't, somehow suspended in mid-air, defying gravity, a visual curiosity......................
