I was excited to see POS materials in the window and rushed back in the rain to order one ! or even better buy from store stock !!

The guys said "don't blame us - this was marketing's idea - we still can't order you one"

my dealer lent me One

superb remote

you have to get used to the lay-out of the buttons and the UI. But this is much easier then get used to the Beo4 with the additional screen buttons in the nineties (after years with BL7000's)

once you are familiar with it the 4 is bulky the 5/6 ............ fill in yourself. since the beolink 1000 family the best remote

Glad to hear that.

It's my next purchase.

Do you use it in beo4 mode?

Best thing about my new Avant :)

(although, in the dark, I have switched the TV off twice as the standby button is where the volume control used to be)

Both in new and old modes, with the customization I hardly notice the difference.

BeoRemote 1 can be bought as from December I just learned at B&O in Copenhagen.

It will come in a matt-finish as well.

Perfect. I might ask them to swap out my shiny (Avant) BeoRemote 1 :)

Thanks Ferdinand ... so until then, my picture is more accurate Big Smile it has the remote behind | b | a | r | s |

I had hoped to have it for my August birthday, instead I shall have to settle for a Christmas present, or buy an Avant !

is there a word for collecting too many remotes .... as I can see another one that I need for some strange reason.... Big Smile

we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.
