Hi guy's,

I have a problem,

my BS 9000 is doing strange lately, motley I can turn it on with the remote and then no more reaction anymore ,so the radio or the cd starts playing but then I cannot do anything anymore with the remote.

I have tested the remote by pointing it to a digital camera (someone told me this trick) and you can see the IR lights on the camera display every time you press any button on the remote so I think the remote is working fine.

Perhaps cleaning the receiver lens but can someone tell me were this is located?

We have cleaned the glass of the 9000 several times without any change

??? anyone had this also before

set up is BS9000 with Beolab 1 and beolab 8000

I have a BS9300 and mine doesn't work at all with the remote.

The sensor is the bulge on the front edge, right hand side, below the cd tray.

i was going to buy a replacement board on eBay but didn't bother in the end.

Hi kriskarmann,

did you try disconnecting the BS from the mains for a couple of minutes?

Try giving it the right option again - standalone is 'A.OPT 1'.

Did you - perhaps - have had visitors (kids), who 'played' with the remote?
