Is there any way that I can use a non-B&O television as center speak to power a 3.1 or 5.1 system? I have a top-of-line Sony HX920 and playing with the thought of buying either a BL5 or a BL14. I doubt the BL5 works, but have some hopes that there may be a way with the BL14?

G'day Steve

I think this is the reason why they make 2 versions of the BL14s: those with B&O TV's, includes 4 surround speakers; and those with non B&O TV's (that inc me) with 5 speakers, which you can use with the pre-amp of your AV receiver.

I also have that Sony TV with the integrated 2.1 stand and I have even tried using it with my Sony surround sound but i have no luck because the Sony thinks that Stand is an "audio system" as well as my Sony surround sound (with shock! Bose speakers).
