Today my BS5/BM5 would not play any more. It did not respond, nothing in display and no sound, so I tried reboot it. First reboot I only saw the 'error, invalid picture' on black screen for a few seconds about 1 minute into reboot, but it would not work. Last couple of reboots I get these 3 pictures, and the 'windows screen' is the last.

Any suggestions what to do, or what is wrong?[:\'(]

I know a bit about computers, but would like not to experiment too much with B&O and windowsEmbarrassed.

See attached pictures for details.

The error in the second picture may indicate the disk is full - or at least the system partition if the disk has multiple partitions.

Do you have a keyboard and mouse you can plug in?

Martin.

Yes I do have a mouse and keybord. I will try to plug it in and see if I can get any useful info.

I'm convinced that the HD is not full, since I have not loaded CD's on it for some time, and last I checked it was about 60% used only.

Any suggestions what to do.

how did you reboot?

just power-off, power-off?

or did you restart windows in the service menu?

try to reinstall factory settings; power-off, power-on and choose the second option during the start of Windows (with the use of an attached keyboard)

Thanks for all the good/excellent help.

I got it working again, bu reinstall of factory setting, except the Radio (NRADIO). There are no radio stations available, even though it it connected to the Internet. It only displays a 'B&O Radio' and 'PAUSE' on the display when selected, and no music. When I got my BS5 in feb 2009, I installed/enabled the the Radio stations by on the BS5 pressing/holding '<> GO and Ring'. The will not work. It is rebuilding the music server, which takes hours, but this should not be the solution or what? Anyone know the trick to setup/enable RADIO (NRADIO) again after reinstall factory settings.

I toke some photos of the situation I had, so you can see what happened in the process, and what was the problem.

Before the reinstallation of factory settings, my 'D drive' (Boot) had 0% free space. After the reinstallation, and the update to the newest Firmware / OS update, the 'D drive' had 45% free space (2.22 GB). Before the firmware update, with the factory settings - BS5 Main Firmware 1.2a, BM5 OS update 5.00, 'D drive' had 2.83 GB free space.

Now I only have to figure out the NRADIO setupConfused

Kind regards / Mvh.

I think I found the answer to N.Radio not available. Via BeoConnect (on my MAC), I registered the BS5 and the BM5 again, even though done before. Then the radio stations showed up. This I found the solution under installation guide for BS/BM5 setup with BeoVision 9 on the net. I think this is a B&O technician guide? It didn't mention BeoConnect, by BeoPort and BeoPlayer.

Thanks a lot for all the help Martin and Carolpa.
