Tomorrow, I will be transporting one of my turntables, a 1969 Beogram 1800 (Type 5213).

I do not have the original manual for this, and nor is it on the website, so I was wondering if anyone had any advise for transporting? I will be driving it, so it won't need full scale courier level protection, but I do want to make sure the suspension etc. is not damaged.

Could anyone tell me where to locate the transport screws for instance?

Many thanks,

Ben

There are no transport screws and you cannot take off the platter.
Lock the tonearm in its holder and it'll be fine.

Thanks Martin, just what I hoped (and expected) to hear!
