Does anyone have a copy of this manual that they are willing to share....?? I cannot seem to find one anywhere on the Web.
If anyone knows that it is absolutely unavailable, does the Beocenter 9000 share enough common componentry with other models to use their Service Manuals...??
The Beocentre 9500 is very similar, and the manual is on site. There are differences with the tape deck and cd decoder, but overall you should find the '9500 manual will suffice.I have the BC9000 manual, but not the cd supplement, and have been able to refurbish several '9000's,not least with help from other Beoworld members. What problems do you have with your Beocentre 9000?
Nick
Have just purchased one in a reasonable state. I was going to replace all the caps first off and then see what problems are left. Do you have a PDF of your manual....??
The problem with this is that to scan these manuals, one has to dismantle them - I know - I did the 9500! This means they are then in bits and not nearly so neat. I therefore am not too surprised at the lack of willing volunteers to produce a pdf!

Beocentre 9500 manuals are often offered on e.bay.Mostly these are on cdr/dvdr,but also original paper manuals appear too.You will need to replace the caps on the cd servo panel at least, but don't touch the adjustment presets.C2103 is the "usual suspect",and must be replaced with the same type.Search the site for many posts on this subject.
I've seen some benefit from recapping the cd decoder panel too, which employs some of the same type of capacitor.
That should get the cd section up and running, and you can investigate the other sections. The tape deck will need a new belt(s?)and a good lube, and the door belts will need replacing too.
Overall, well worth sorting out. These units are nice to work on,and perform very well.
Regards,
Most of the manuals offered on eBay are electronic copies of the manuals from Beoworld! Remember you can get the whole lot from here for silver membership including catalogues, some quite rare, and user manuals rather than a single ripped off copy from eBay!
Hello,
this is the closest topic to my problem.
I have the manual of the BeoCenter 9000.
I need to repair the board number 64 on the power supply transformer, former person burned it and killed some traces...
My manual says 1N4002 for both diodes D3 and D4.
Is my manual incorrect, or the diodes are other types?
I have seen photos of the PSU, and the two diodes are different on the pictures, so they can't be the same type.
Do the 8500s, 9000s and 9500s share the same boards? are the differences big?
Hope someone can help.
Thanks,
Zsolt
The service manuals says 1N4002 for both BC9000 and BC9500.
//Bo.A long list...
There is a pdf copy in the Beoworld library now.
