The long awaited test is now online on Flatpanels.dk:

Watch out for the english version on FlatpanelsHD - or use GoogleTranslate.
MM
There is a tv - and there is a BV
It seems to have been a work in progress, the page is quite empty for the moment.
I am curious too!
Beolit 12 - Beolab 4 pc (dead now) - Beoplay H5 - Beolab 9 - BeoRemote One BT - Beoplay M3
4 beolab 5, beolab 9, beolab 10, beolab 5000, beolab 8000 mk2, beolab 6002, beolab 3500, beovision 7 55 mk2, 2 beovision 11 46 mk4, beotime, beosound ouverture, beosound essence, beoplay A8, beomaster 900 RG de luxe and the collection continues...
I was able to read the review before it was taken down (I google translated it).
They mention a 200ms input lag vs the 66ms reported by trusted reviews. I can live with 66, but not with 200.
A few snippets I memorised:
"The sound is not as rich as the BV11, but there were no adjustments made for the subwoofer (distance from the wall etc)". However, in the Pro's "Stellar sound" was mentioned.
Also:
"Picture quality almost as good as the 11. Great color reproduction. HD looks great, SD not so much.""B&O welcomes the usage of third-party HEVC decoders" (not going to focus too much on the Smart TV offering apparently)"The upscaling engine struggles and might make the TV unresponsive to remote buttons" (something I experienced myself at the dealer)"
But I'd rather wait for a decent translation..
They write in the Danish forum that they have just received a new software from B&O which is not available yet for customers. This software should sort some of the issued so they need time to test this and give a new verdict.
They gave the product a highly recommended even with the old software.
Beovision Harmony 77" 2nd Gen, Beolab 5, Beolab 17, Beosound 1, Beoplay M3, Beoplay Portal, Beoplay Earset, Beoliving Intelligence
Double post -_-
A guy (Jan Bødskov) on the danish HiFi4All/PeterPan-forum had somehow managed to find the review on Flatpanels.dk
Seems that it had been indexed by Google before time (?)
It was a first version, and they wanted to wait for the new SW before putting it online.
You can't find it anymore.
Rasmus even asked Peter Pan to remove his (Google)translation of the conclusion from the site - which he has done:
http://www.hifi4all.dk/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=46053&PN=1&TPN=514
Rasmus promises that the review soon will be finished.
@Olvisab - if I had posted a translated conclusion here, I - of course - would have done the same.
So I guess we will have to wait for the final version in danish - or in english
P.S. But - as emilos wrote: "They gave the product a highly recommended even with the old software."
Anyone notice the review on Trusted Reviews? http://www.trustedreviews.com/b-o-avant_TV_review
B&O promoted this on their Facebook page, I made a comment, others agreed with me :)
https://www.facebook.com/bangolufsen?ref=br_tf
Have a read before B&O delete the negative comments, tomorrow ;)
B&O BeoVision Avant 55" TEST review

The real thing - finally
Millemissen: The real thing - finally MM
Best gem hidden away in the article ....
"Additionally, the One can learn commands from other remotes with PUC codes. This means that you do not need an IR blaster to control other devices."
BeoNut since '75
elephant: ".. learn commands from other remotes with PUC codes. ."
".. learn commands from other remotes with PUC codes. ."
That does not make any sense to me - must be a misunderstanding!
Edit! It seems to be a bad translation. The original text is:
"lære kommandoer fra andre fjernbetjeninger udenom Beovision 11's PUC koder."
Means: '...without using the PUC codes of the BV11'.
But - where would you need that?
For a light system perhaps? Or?
P.S. I find nothing about this in the Userguide.
Millemissen: P.S. I find nothing about this in the Userguide. MM
Thanks MM ....... I think
Torben (who wrote/made the test) on the Avant 55 has now edited the part concerning 'the One learning ir-codes'.
Was actually some kind of misunderstanding.
